KEYHOLE SURGERY

Laparoscopic surgery, also known as keyhole surgery, is a minimally invasive technique offered here at River Veterinary Care.

Traditional spaying, also known as open surgery, involves making an incision in the abdomen to remove the uterus and ovaries. Keyhole spaying is a modern technique where small instruments are used to perform the surgery from outside the abdomen, controlled by our specially trained vet, Alex.
